Ive never seen a man cry that much. Its human nature to react to violence and some of is do it more than others. But why judge people when you can help them? If a man hits his wife she shouldn’t leave. “till death do us part”. I’m not saying she should sit back and take it either. Compromise and be there for your husband. Work it out and find out why he does the things he does. There are alternative reasons to leaving the man you love alone forever. I always asked myself how my mom could sit back and take it for so long and then I got in an abusive relationship. I fought back and hit him so many times and the whole time I was picturing my dads face. I stopped and we cried together he told me his dad always beat him when he was younger. His mom left. She was addicted to meth and he kept everything bottled up inside just like me. Until it exploded. Look, what I’m trying to say is there’s always something hidden. There’s always a reason behind violence. And to all those feminist bitches who say women are equal to men then complain about a guy hitting you if you slapped him first. Get the fuck over yourself. If you can dish it sit back an take it. Oh my GOD some people do actually think the way the OP does. You watched him beat your mother and she OD’d and your concern lies with HIS TEARS?!  I……..wait, is this legit? Like is this person serious? That CANNOT be the case, I fucking refuse to believe it… I watched my father beat my sister’s mother when they were dating, he tore her clothes. It has been like 14 or 15 years since that happened and I can clearly remember it. My father also beat my mother when they were together, most of the time it was when she was pregnant with me. You can bet your ass that if any man hit me in anger, no matter if he apologized first, I would leave. That shit don’t fly around here. If someone truly loves you, they will want you to leave if they hit you. If I were to hit my daughter,  I want her father and step mother to take her away from me. I want her to be safe and happy.My need to have her near me is secondary to that. That is true love. True love is wanting what is best for someone.  The part about “‘til death do us part” is really not much more than ceremonial—in reality, very often meaningless. I think the only thing you be bound to do until the day you die is be a good person. That includes not abusing people you love. I don’t think that hitting someone automatically means you don’t love them, since you can’t fairly define someone else’s feelings for them, but if you aren’t loving in practice, then the only person who cares whether that loves exists or not is you.
