This video of children ostensibly reacting to Darth Vader’s “I am your father” line is starting to make the rounds and needs to be nipped in the bud right now. I have children. This is not the way children react when they are surprised. This is the way children react when they have been told to make a surprise face after they hear the cue line. That’s not to say this doesn’t still have cuteness merit as a document of performing styles. Sister makes her face for a couple of seconds and then goes back to neutral couch mode. Brother starts with a glance at his parent to confirm that he has the cue right and then really commits. Somewhere, Whiteboard Girl smiles knowingly.

I would like to add that this sucks. These are quite possibly the worst child actors I have ever seen. Whoever made this is a dick. Fuck these people and their kids.
