#tmh9 I am tweeting, knowing nothing about what the show is about. I just tuned in. SHUT UP.

Something significant is happening in Iran right now. I only wish I could get a clear picture. #iranelection
What are you supposed to do when your paycheque doesn’t leave you enough for rent, which is due tomorrow?
#iamblessed by someone who’s nearby when I sneeze. So it looks like sneezing gets you into Heaven.
My jam right now? “Pure Imagination”. And it feels so good.
I want to be a proud Canadian. I really do. I don’t exactly dig our nationwide inferiority complex and I want us to be proud of everything we do as a nation. Except this.
I don’t lobby for much, but this sort of embarrasses me. If we can’t keep track of sex offenders in our country, that is a pretty significant aspect of our social safety that needs serious work.
On a lighter note, how ‘bout them Dolphins?*
*I do not know anything specific or newsworthy about the Miami Dolphins. That was just meant to be a distraction and a reference to a great movie: The Birdcage, starring Robin Williams and Nathan Lane. Check it.
Gotta respect, however shallow it is, the slickness of the Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana machine. Eminem couldn’t pull off a Slim Shady concert
Dear Twitter: address the fact that many Trending Topics stay there only because people are asking “Why is ___ trending? Wtf?”
The difference between a law office and a used-tire store lies in the use of “Bros.” instead of an ampersand.
RT @RioPuerco Brett Favre retires, again. The Diva has left the NFL, three seasons too late. I have respect, but I hope he stays gone.
Adult sentence for the crazy teenager who texted her boyfriend into killing his ex. Hopefully an adult sentence for his dumb ass, too.
Do you think you’re too connected to other people? When’s the last time you had some time for introspection?
CBC Radio is just the best. On the way home from work I hear an encore of an episode of ‘Spark’. The issues at hand were whether or not this age of hyper-connectedness is limiting or
eliminating
humans’ ability to look within themselves, to be introspective. When you have your computer wherever you are in the house, and your cell phone whenever you leave, you’ll never be lonely. But you’ll also never be alone.
In a way, this is a comfort. But is it reaching a point of overkill? Everything in moderation… even in a world of 3G, whatever that really means.
As the host of ‘Spark’ said, I realize the irony of asking you to respond about being over-connected, on my tumblog. But it’s worth thinking about: how can you know yourself when you never turn everything off and let yourself think? To put it another way… what sky’s more beautiful? A hazy downtown glow, or the Milky Way?
Either answer is fair, but explain yourself.
Tried to sleep after picking my mom up from the airport, but Django got in my head so I got up. Going to be a long day.
I hope there aren’t any teams in the NFL who think that drafting Michael Vick is a good idea. I loved watching him, too… but 4 years ago.
Once in a while I still stop, think, and shake my head in a good way, at the fact that a Doobie Brother is following me on Twitter.
Today, I was thoroughly shamed into re-evaluating my perceived aptitude at the playing of FIFA ‘09. OH NO.
If you or someone you know can wrangle me some sulfur hexafluoride, please let me know. I will pay you handsomely.
These aren’t even just hiccups. These are rapid-fire motherfucking CONTRACTIONS of that motherfucking DIAPHRAGM.
There are so many hip-hop songs out there that leave no excuse for people asking, “Who does this song?” They give you a roll call!
